The Winterdale Shaw Smoked cheese is a hand made, unpasteurised, hard cheese, made similarly to Winterdale Shaw but smoked by lowering the cheese truckles into a dedicated smoke chamber using traditional oak wood smoke, during the maturation process, which imparts a delicious, smoky flavour to the cheese while it ages in the cave located in the North Downs of Kent. Awarded one of the highest accolades of Gold in the British cheese awards. Produced locally by award winning Winterdale Cheesemakers in Sevenoaks, the UK’s 1st carbon neutrally produced cheese.
